Motorcycles are Earth-Friendly
Motorcycles are fun and use a lot less resources to get around. They are much more popular in other countries and can be great means to commute to work or to the local train station. One way to try out motorcycling is to pick up a used bike. They are much cheaper and you give up very little in terms of quality. Many bikes are available with low mileage. Try Ebay for a good selection.
Bicyles are even more Earth-Friendly
Bicycling seems to have fallen out of favor with the younger crowd ourside of the Xtreme BMX stuff. It is seen as not cool! Too bad, I rode a bike throughout my college and graduate days and on to working in Europe. It kept me in shape and was definitely cheaper than a car. My favorite bike that I don't own but lust after is the Bianci road bike
